About Brian Holt


Brian Holt has over 15 years experience producing and programming radio and television and serving as a talent manager to television, film and recording artists – having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry from Ryan Seacrest, Valentine and Don Bleu to Mariah Carey, Matthew Perry and Dolly Parton.

Brian’s format experience is wide-ranging and includes Hot/Modern AC, AC, Alternative and News/Talk. In 2001 Ryan Seacrest asked Brian to executive produce his first nationally syndicated program, Live From The Lounge with Ryan Seacrest, a 90 minute weekly syndicated show presenting exclusive interviews and performance with music’s biggest stars. The program’s profile is credited with providing Seacrest a national presence just in time for his debut with America’s #1 rated television show, American Idol.

Other programs include executive producing K-101’s Don Bleu in the Morning show where they held the #1 position Women 25-54 during his tenure; serving as APD/MD and executive producing LA’s Star 98.7 Jamie White’s morning show where they held #1 Women 18-34; executive producing My FM’s Valentine and Lisa Foxx in the Morning, and producing/hosting programming for San Francisco’s Live 105 and San Diego’s Alternative 91X.

In addition to music programming, Holt has launched and produced programs for heritage news/talk stations KGO, KSFO and LA’s powerhouse KFI where in 2010 he launched and executive produced their first live and local midday programming in 15 years, The Bill Carroll Show.

Brian’s television credits include executive producing an international travel show – Q on the Move for the nation’s first gay television cable outlet QTV; a documentary-styled program featuring auctions from around the globe for Discovery’s – Watch Bid Win as well as producing several television pilots including one for CBS radio.  His television experiences range from production to casting to talent coaching all areas that serve the medium of radio as well. “Talent is talent and almost all folks in radio want to be on TV too…”, says Holt.
